mydrive is a personal OAuth client used by its owner to connect rclone to Google Drive.

Google user data accessed

When the owner authorizes the connection, rclone may access Google Drive files and file metadata according to the permissions granted. The full Drive permission allows viewing, creating, changing and deleting files. The actual operations depend on the commands the owner runs.

Depending on the command, data may include file names, folder structure, identifiers, timestamps, permissions, and file contents. Access is used only to perform the owner’s requested file operations.

How data is used and stored

Google user data is used to carry out the owner’s rclone operations, such as listing or transferring files. rclone stores authorization information in its configuration on the device or server where it is run. Files transferred with rclone are stored at the destinations selected by the owner. The operator controls those devices and destinations.

Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored in the rclone configuration on the system running rclone. Their retention depends on that system and its backups; the owner can remove the relevant configuration when it is no longer needed. File copies remain at their selected destinations until deleted by the owner.

Sharing

The connection is for the owner’s personal use. Data is transmitted to Google and to any destination the owner chooses when running rclone. The operator does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. This informational website does not request Google authorization or provide a file transfer service. Google and any destination provider process data under their own policies.

Access and deletion

The owner can revoke the application’s access through their Google Account connections and remove rclone’s local configuration and any copies under their control. Revocation does not automatically delete copies already transferred to other locations.

Security

The operator is responsible for securing the systems, rclone configuration, credentials, backups, and destinations used for transfers. Access may be revoked at any time as described above.
